When DEEP SEVEN come

 Many and varied are the horrors that lurk in the shadows.

These diminutive creepy crawlies pack a mighty punch, and these are just hatchlings.

These are Crooked Dice Cthonic Hatchlings.

The figures were glued to Renedra 25mm diameter bases. Once Woodland Scenics' cinder fine ballast had been glued to the base it was undercoated with Citadel Chaos Black spray.

Vallejo Flat Earth was used for the base.

The body was painted with Vallejo Grey Blue.

The head is Army Painter Oozing Purple.

The eyes were first painted with Army Painter Stone Golem, followed by Citadel Mephiston Red.

The beak is Citadel Morghast Bone.

The whole thing was shaded with Citadel Drakenhof Nightshade.

Finally it was drybrushed with Citadel Terminatus Stone.

Three done, seven to go.

It is beginning to look a lot like Fish Men....

North Star released a range of Horror figures in 2019, that included the Deep Ones.

This one is based on a Renedra 30mm plastic base.

The figure was undercoated with Citadel Chaos Black spray. It was then sprayed with Citadel Death Guard Green. The base was painted with Citadel Zandri Dust, washed with Citadel Agrax Earthshade and dry brushed with Citadel Terminatus Stone.

The figure was dry brushed with Citadel Nurgling Green. The belly was lightened with Citadel Nurgling Green Layer then a mix of Nurgling Green and Citadel Pallid Wytch Flesh. It was then washed with Celia Greenshade and lightly dry brushed again with Nurgling Green. The eyes were first painted Humbrol matt white. They were then painted with Vallejo Flat Yellow. The pupil was painted with Army Painter Black. The top of the eye was washed with Citadel Flesh Wash.
