The Law

Crooked Dice brought out their US Lawmen a number of years ago. The figures were available with pistols, rifles, assault rifles and batons. A later release was armed with pump action shot guns.

I thought they would make good characters for the beginning of the Zombie Apocalypse.

The Sergeant.

Behind you!

The good ole boy officer.

 The fearless officer.

The elderly but reassuring officer.

Another Empress V100 Cadillac Gage Commando

The Cadillac Gage Commando served in areas other than Vietnam.

There are some examples in the Osprey book.

This particular example has been painted up as a well maintained vehicle in a drier climate.

The vehicle was first undercoated with Citadel Chaos Black, followed by Citadel Zandri Dust.
To generate the camouflage pattern I got out my trusty glass plate and the compass cutter to cut the patterns out of a strip of masking tape. The pattern needed to be concave to give the effect of the Zandri Dust overlying the Humbrol Olive Drab.

Once the masking was in place, the hull was sprayed with Humbrol Olive Drab.

Vehicle numbers come from a Warlord German Armour decal sheet, the smaller ones from the German Turret Number sheet.

The vehicle registration numbers are from two Rubicon Jeep sheets, as is the First Aid box marking. The weight circle is from the Rubicon LRDG Chevy deal set.

Here it is with the previous US Military Police example from last year.

The Walking Dead: All Out War - Further Walkers

Another two walkers from the The Walking Dead: All Out War box set.
This figure uses a World War 2 star from the Rubicon M4 decal set.

This one uses the U.S.A part of an M4 registration number from the same decal sheet.

The Walking Dead: All Out War - More Walkers

These are the next three walkers from the original The Walking Dead: All Out War.

It has been a while since I started painting these, the first one was painted back in 2018.
This is the same figure I got as a freebie from Salute 2017.
The skin is Citadel Rakath Flesh.

Now just got to paint the remaining eight (plus the ones from Here's Negan!, the boosters and the expansion packs...).

Boots, weapons and webbing were (with the exception of the one figure where the black was Citadel Abaddon Black) Army Painter Black with a light dry brush with the Citadel Terminatus Stone.
Hands and face are Citadel Dryad Brown, dry brushed with Citadel Terminatus Stone and washed with Agrax Earthshade. Inside the ears was painted with Citadel Bugman Glow.
