Crooked Dice Treasure Piles - part two

Back in October 2021 I bought the Treasure Pile objective tokens (now called Fantasy Objective Tokens) set from Crooked Dice. I based them on Renedra 25mm circular bases.
And there they remained, undercoated but unfinished.
Starting the New year, I set about painting one of them (I actually started on a number of them, but only this one is finished).
it is a broken shallow pottery dish with a small pile of coins on top.
The dish is Citadel Mounfang Brown, The edges are highlighted with Citadel Golfag Brown (it is a dry brush paint but it was applied as a edging paint). The coins were first painted with Vallejo Brass, then Vallejo Gold.
The dish was washed with Citadel Agrax Earthshade.
This is number Three in the set. I will add a number on the underside later.

Salute 2021

Due to "One thing and another", South London Warlords recycled the unused bags and theme from the planned 2020 Salute. For extra recycling points, the bags were cotton.

There were full size models of a Spitfire and a hHurricane on display.

There were lots of interesting games on display, but time meant I did not get a chance to see them all. The Carnevale demo game certainly had an interesting board.

I sometimes wonder why I keep buying them...

At SELWG 2021 I bought the Sisters of Talliareum female paladins

Previously I had bought their Shield Maiden box (back in 2017), and not been impressed, so I am not sure why I bought these.

There are five sprues in the box - two of one kind and three of the other.

I have one partially assembled figure but I am finding it hard to summon the enthusiasm to finish it.

SELWG 2021 - The First Show of the year (and for years)

What with "one thing and another", it has been a long time since I got to visit a show.

SELWG took place at Picketts Lock, North London on the 17th of October.

It was slightly smaller than I remember at Crystal Palace but it was good to see those that attended.

More on the new toys when the light is better.

One of the games on display was the South London Warlords and their large scale Stingray game.
