Another twenty skeletons for Joriff's army.
Okay, they still need the shields added, so are skulking at the back. So, while I summon up the enthusiasm to begin to undercoat the Hoplites, I bought some figures to provide some more mythical flavour to the armies.
This is a North Star Ghost Archipelago Gorgon.
Based on a Renedra 25mm round base.Empress have recently released their first two infantry packs for the Army of the Republic of Vietnam.
So amongst my order I added the two packs and the existing crew pack. As I thought they could do with some wheels, I could have gone for an ARVN M113, but decided that another V100 would suit my current terrain better.
Now just got to start building them.
As part of my Not-Colours order from Empress, I got a BAOR Land Rover carrying a WOMBAT Recoilless Rifle.
Here are the components of the Land Rover (there is a pack with the crew and the WOMBAT still to photograph).
The doors are optional and it comes with a set of stowage and opened WOBAT ammunition boxes. The Oathmark Revenants were released towards the end of June, sprue photographs are here.
Here is the first rank of Revenant Infantry as Linebreakers, with two handed axes.
The recently released multi-part Robots are available as two types, the Regiments (human) sized and the larger Exo-Lords sized.
Here are the component, on the left the Exo-Lords sized ones, complete with Widowmaker rifles with box magazines, on the right the Regiments sized ones with Phase SMGs.
With the continuing "One Thing and Another", there is no Colours this year again.
So I put in an order at Anvil for some of their new Robots and drop troops (plus some more heads for Oathmark).
From left to right: Exo-Lord scale robots, robots (and a Quadcopter and Drone Controller) and Drop Troopers.I ordered the M151 Ford Mutt from Empress soon after it came out, but had not got round to starting it.
This is the contents of the kit (I also ordered the crew set for it).
A while back Sarissa produced a secure compound set for Warlord for their lamentable Project-Z game. Sarissa later released it and the walls separately under their own branding. I bought the full compound set, but have only built (some) of the walls.
The kit comes as one of their about A4 sized packs. It builds seven wall sections and one section with a gate.
