The GAZ Tigr is a Russian 4x4 infantry mobility vehicle. It is manufactured in Russia, China and Belarus and is available in armoured and unarmored forms.
Empress produce a kit of the GAZ Tigr in resin and whitemetal at their chosen scale of 1/50.
It comes with a PKP GPMG and a 30mm AGL (the usual weapon fit is for both). There are an extensive collection of aerials.
The fit is to traditional Empress standards, I have not actually glued the model together in the photograph above. The wheels have slide sockets moulded in which makes assembling the four wheels in contact with the ground very easy.
For various reasons, this was the state of play for over two years.
The wheels were left off during painting.
The Guards badge on the door is inspired by plate B on page 9 of Combat Vehicles of Russia's Special Forces by Mark Galeotti published by Osprey.
Oops, someone forgot to attach the spare wheel.
Here are two Empress figures for scale.
On patrol near some Dacha.
I have not fitted it with weapons or aerials, they are rather vulnerable.
