Codename "Brenda" *

As part of a developing campaign, I needed a character figure. Hasslefree do a figure called "Madge" that I thought would be suitable.

Hasslefree figures come with slotted bases, so the tab was removed and the boots filed flat. A 1mm diameter hole was drilled in bottom of one boot and a 1mm brass rod inserted. A 25mm Renedra base had a matching hole drilled in it and the figure was glued in place.

So "Brenda" is armed with a custom shotgun with flechette ammunition and is wearing body armour and a chocolate cookie coloured scarf she had received as a present from one of her grandsons.

As an elderly person, she is classified as "Slow", but her wealth of experience means she is "Elite" and has access to all manner of off table resources.

Empress Miniatures SAS troops

This the recent Empress Miniatures SAS set SAS8.

The first operator is armed with a suppressed L119 carbine rifle and a pistol. He is equipped with a night vision set.

The second operator also armed with an L119 and a pistol, equipped with night vision and light armour.

The support is a suppressed Minimi LMG (not sure if it is the L108 or the shorter L110).

The fourth operator again is armed with the L119 carbine and a pistol.

Empress SAS trooper

This is one of the recent Empress Miniatures SAS troopers (from set SAS8).

Armed with a suppressed L119 and a pistol in a holster, this trooper is lightly equipped for a night assault.

Gloves protect his hands and knee pads his knees.

 A water pack and the radio pack on his back.
