Five Parsecs From Home - first painted character

The Wargames Atlantic Cannon Fodder 2 set (described previously) has a majority of rifle arms (with a standard laser rifle) and some slightly odd pistols.

For one of the Five Parsecs From Home crew, I wanted something more hi-tech, so had a look at the Stargrave Crew II set for usable arms. It turns out that unlike the Cannon Fodder set, the arms fit easily on the torsos. I have not tried a two handed weapon yet, so I am not certain how they would fare.

In Five Parsecs From Home, you roll randomly for the crew's equipment (based on their background) and combine the equipment into a pool that you can then dish out to meet their need.
One of them has a hi-tech energy weapon and a stealth suit.
I did wonder about painting a hard edged splinter pattern, but decided that could be too effective, so went with a more blobby pattern.

They are based for a desert world (so probably at the end of the first campaign turn they will have to leave it), so to show the smart nature of the stealth suit, it would have a camouflage that was distinctly not chocolate chip.

Another member of the crew

Another member of the crew for Stargrave and Five Parsecs from Home.

The body and arms are from the Stargrave Crew II set, the head from the Trooper set. I have still to choose the hair extension to finish this figure. The gun has been smoothed off, and plastic strip and a sight from the Anvil Phase Rifle sprue (now discontinued) added to the top.
There are still some filling and details to be added.

Gunfighters II from Great Escape Games

Great Escape Games have released their second set of multipart plastic miniatures.

This is the first one I assembled.
Not really happy with it, it is rather odd looking.
Lacking instructions, there is a bit of trial with plenty of error in getting the right combination of legs, torsos, arms and head.

They are of a similar size to Crooked Dice's William Killian.
Here is a comparison with a Stargrave plastic Crew II.
