Brotherhood of Steel T60 power armour
At Salute 2026 I bought the Brotherhood of Steel Core Box for the Fallout Factions game from Modhious.
It contains parts for eight miniatures, two are T60 power armour, the others lightly armoured (or unarmoured). There are a range of options for each figure - it is worth checking what load out you want for the game before you start building them, though there is a starter list. The box contains an instruction and faction booklet (also available to down load).
There are two different sprues, a set of bases (6x30mm and 2x 40mm) and the instruction booklet.
The first figure built and painted is a Brotherhood Knight in T60 power armour.
It is made up a very large number of parts, but it went together okay.
The figure was undercoated with a slightly dodgy coloured Citadel Mechanicum Grey (which does not match past or current acrylics from Citadel).Wednesday, June 17, 2026
Mantic Mule revisited.
A while back I posted an image of the Salvager Family Byrnson which included their trusty Mule ATV.
At the time it was in Citadel Zandri Dust undercoat, but I had decided that a utility grey would be more serviceable.
Three years on, it is still not finished but it is possibly also usable a colonial exploration vehicle for 5PFH: Planetfall.Monday, April 20, 2026
Salute 2026
So, it is that time of year again, the great pilgrimage to the Excel centre for Salute.
Entry was was well organised, utilising a second hall to take the queue (so as not to upset the other attendees at the centre).
Not sure why, but the Titan Owners Club holds a special fascination. Some of them had very garish light shows. It was the only photograph from the show that came out in focus.
So what did I buy? Some Death Robots for Scrap Jacks.
A lander for invading East London.A Five Parsecs From Home variant for gaming colonising other planets.
A Solo roleplaying game based on Fallout (more later).
And a Five X from Y variant: Paranoia:
I also bought the Fallout Hollywood Heroes set and the Brotherhood of Steel starter set.

Recent Rule books
So I have bought a number of rules in the last fortnight (all from North Star).
First up: Five Leagues from the Borderlands Compendium.
Lots of new stuff for Five leagues from the Borderlands. Like the Five Parsecs from Home compendium, it contains a stand alone game Deep Below. In this case it is a dungeon delver game, with additional species to be part of your party.
The most recent purchase is the second edition of Dragon Rampant.

The Converted: Command Node
The analysis section had highlighted an increase in missing persons in the area around the pumping station (itself not far from where the pod from The Converted had landed - and supposedly sanitised)
As was standard protocol when dealing with a potential Converted incursion, we were dropped off a distance from the target location and had to approach on foot (to prevent the subversion of the transport and any escape out of the cordon area).
We knew we had the right place when a command node stepped out of the control building and started firing.
The body is from the Scavengers set, the shotgun arms from the Crew set and the head from the Automata set.
The figure was undercoated with Citadel Mechanicus Standard Grey.

Five Parsecs from Home: Tactics - Converted
Another has joined the ranks of The Converted.
It wa only after I finished it that I realised it should have been a Light Machine Gun armed figure.Tuesday, June 10, 2025
Five Parsecs from Home: Tactics - Mini armies
So the first three Converted for Five Parsecs from Home: Tactics
Two built from the parts in the Automatons sprue, and one built with bits from the Scavenger and Crew sprues with an Automaton head. They face a trooper squad.
