Frostgrave Knights (for Oathmark)

The Frostgrave Knights box set (covered here) builds eight figures. The bodies are compatible with the Oathmark range and provide an opportunity to build command figures.

This knight uses the closed helm from the Oathmark Human Infantry set.

He has also had a large pouch added.

Size comparison with the Oathmark Human Infantry.
The second Knight is for the kingdom that uses the Brodie style helmet. This is the Gladiator style helmet from Anvil Industries. This required the neck hole to be opened up using a 3mm drill.
The standard hand weapon for the infantry is the mace, so this knight is also armed with a mace.

Fireforge Living Dead Warriors

Fireforge Games has a Forgotten World fantasy range of plastic 28mm multi-part, multi-pose miniatures. One of the ranges is the Living Dead.

The Living Dead Warriors box contains 12 infantry miniatures.

The box contains two body sprues and two head sprues.

Each body sprue has six bodies, six spear arms, six hand weapons, three two handed spears, plus a banner and a musician.

Wargames Atlantic Halflings

Miniature Wargames (JANUARY 2021 [453]) issue had a Wargames Atlantic Halfling five figure sprue on the cover (and a couple of Oathmark articles - one historical, the other Halflings vs Spiders).

Unlike the Oathmark sets, the sprue does not allow you to arm all of them the same.

The sprue has five bodies, two bow and arrow arm sets, two halberd arm sets, two spears (one and two handed), two slings, one knife, fifteen heads, one targe, and a poached egg pan (!).

Here is the front of the sprue.
And the back.

Frostgrave Demons and The Red King

The Red King is the first supplement for Frostgrave Second Edition. It is a campaign pitting the players against the Titular Red King, his demon troops and the reality warping intersection between two realities.

The supplement is accompanied by a new box of plastic demons and associated figures in white metal.

The Demons come in a standard Frostgrave box, comprising four sprues and allow you to build twenty demons.

Each sprue has five bodies, a mix of hand and two handed weapons, two crossbows, three shields and twelve different heads. Two bodies have digitigrade legs.

Frostgrave Knight

With Warband Two being led by an Illusionist, one of the spells is Illusionary Soldier. It makes sense to have the most well protected soldier as the figure is dispelled when it takes any damage.

This Knight is built using one of the bodies from the Soldiers II sprue, a Sallet head from the Frostgrave Knights set, an Oathmark Human Officer/Champion  sword arm and an Oathmark Human shield arm.

There might be a scabbard if any of the existing scabbards would take the length of the sword.

Oathmark Human Infantry

Though the Oathmark Human Infantry box can build many different figures, it does only have one set of heads. As mentioned previously, I ordered two sets of heads including heads with Brodie Helmets from Anvil Miniatures.

This is the first one painted.

He is still missing his shield (which does make the pose look a bit odd.
The clothing is Vallejo Blue Grey, the armour is Citadel Mournfang Brown. Gloves are Citadel Steel Legion Drab, as are the cuffs on the boots. The boots are Army Painter Leather Brown.

A comparison shot between the "out of the box" Oathmark Human Infantry, and one fitted with an Anvil head.
