So having shared the previous photographs, I received feedback on the stowage.
Having discussed the stowage arrangement, I have removed the supplied box and will add a balancing fuel drum on the right hand rear mudguard.
The fixing slots in the hull will need to be filled with Milliput and the drum will be then be fixed on top. Additional soft stowage will fill the gap between the drum and the spade.

Walking Dead supply counter
Having bought the Walking Dead: All Out War game at Warfare, I have started looking at building some scenery.
The first item is a supply counter. These are placed on the terrain to indicate that there are potentially items of interest.
So first up is a pile of crates covered by a tarpaulin.
The pile of crates is a single piece (A28) from the Rubicon Allied Stowage set glued on to a Renedra 25mm diameter base.
The exposed part of the base are covered with PVA glue and Woodland Scenics Cinders Fine ballast. This was then undercoated with Citadel Chaos Black spray.
The base was then painted with Vallejo Burnt Umber paint. The exposed part of the crates were painted Vallejo Old Wood and the tarpaulin painted with Vallejo US Dark Green.
The text comes from a Rubicon US decal set (tank registration number). After varnishing, the whole thing was then dry brushed with Citadel Terminatus Stone. The green parts were then shaded with Citadel Athonian Camoshade. The crates were shaded with Citadel Agrax Earthshade. The edges of the crate were additionally shaded with Citadel Nuln Oil.

SDKFZ 234/2 Puma - work in progress
This is another model that has taken a long time to get anywhere.
One of the concerns was the terrible wheels. This is an eight wheel armoured car, but for some reason the kit designers decided that they would use a strange hollow design.
So, as they will be rather obvious, I have filled the hollow with Milliput. Hopefully when painted black they will look the part.
While building the turret, I did not use sufficient liquid poly to fix the smoke dischargers, and managed to lose one of them.
While looking through the spare parts box, I spotted some PSC Panther cupolas, and thought that they would make a nice protected IR search light for a Weird War vehicle.
A Rubicon German Stowage box for scale.
As this is now going to be a Weird War vehicle I decided that it needed lots of stowage as it would be ranging far and wide. One feature of the SDKFZ 234 series is the rear driving position allowing the vehicle to be driven equally in both directions. This does mean that the rear deck has to be kept clear to allow the second driver to see where he is going.
Fuel would be an issue, so a Rubicon fuel drum was added to the side deck. A fuel pump was added to the rear deck and a fuel hose was made up from solder.
I have not added the other four wheels as they will be painted separately.
The search light was added where the smoke discharger should have been located.
A piece from the SDKFZ 251 kit was added under the front bumper to represent tow lines.

Stug III Work in progress
Well, this is taking some time.
Here are the latest shots of the Warlord Games Stug III assault gun.
I have added a fuel drum and a crate from the Rubicon German Stowageset (in addition to the spare track added earlier. Soft stowage has been added using Greenstuff.

Post War Bolt Action miniatures
Having bought a number of the Wargames Factory (and subsequently Warlord Games Project Z) survivor plastic kits, I have a large number of 28mm scale modern fire arms.
What I was looking for was some post World War miniatures for a skirmish game between American and Soviet proxies.
At Warfare Warlord Ganmes was selling individual plastic sprues, including World War 2 American and Soviet sprues. I thought that would be an ideal opportunity to try combining the Bolt Action bodies and the Project Z weapons.
These are the first two figures, a Soviet supplied soldier with an AK47 and a US supplied soldier with an M16.
The guns suffer from being rather large compared to the figures. Some filling will need to be added to the join.
The figures are also slightly shorter if a lot chunkier than Crooked Dice figures.
They look okay, so I am going to build the remaining figures up.

Walking Dead: All Out War game
At Warfare I bought the new Walking Dead: All Out War game by Mantic.
The box set contains six Survivors and twelve Walkers.
The survivors are slightly larger than my 28mm standard, below are (left to right) Rick Grimes, William Killan and a Project Z zombie.
There will be a review of the game once I have had a chance to read the rules more thoroughly. What I did find interesting is that the game "board" is twenty inches by twenty inches, which does make building themed boards a lot easier.
