Fireforge ALMUGHAVARS

Fireforge have recently released a set of 24 multipart plastic models of the Mediaeval Spanish Almughavars infantry.

Supplied in a standard sized box, it contains four body sprues with six bodies each, and four shield and accessory sprues. It also has 24 20mm square bases.

I have to admit to having looked at them, but not really seen a use for them (short sleeves not being suitable for the cold setting of my Oathmark setting), that is until Joseph McCullough's blog post Mustering Dol Amroth showed them in use somewhere other than Spain.

Now I have a large number of Oathmark Human Infantry (some of which are assembled, if not painted), and that means a number of spare arms.

Here is the first two, one armed with a hand weapon (and a shield later), the other an archer.
