Alien Invader Shuttle Craft

 At Colours 2-24 I bought a resin print of Alien Invader Shuttle Craft.

The hull is printed in two parts, with each half having four recesses to take the supplied spring clips.

There are also three landing fet.

Anvil Industries Biohazard Sergeant as an Astronaut

 A while back Anvil Industries released a five man Biohazard Containment Unit and a Biohazard Sergeant.

The default helmet is a Millenium Gasmask, but I bought a set of their Spheroidal Dome Bubble Helmets as a substitute.

I thought they would make good Expanse style Belters.

This is the Sergeant

He is armed with a pistol and a slung HK416 SOPMOD assault rifle.

He is bracing the pistol with the hand holding a torch.

Anvil Industries Astronaut

 Anvil Industries have a range of Print on Demand Astronauts. there are male and female ones armed either with HK G11 caseless assault rifles or Gyrojet rifles.

This is one of the female astronauts armed with the Gyrojet rifle.

Unfortunately, the rifles are integrated with the arms, so you cannot swap weapons - you have to buy the relevant weapon arms. It does make mix and matching the male and female figures impossible if you want them to have the same weapons.

C-SPEC ONI Suits

 Anvil Industries has just released two Print on Demand Heavy Power Suit, One shooting, the other standing.

They are multipart kits with either a separate head or a hatch. 

Both are armed with a Light Machine Gun, one held two handed (shooting), the other in one hand, the other pointing.

The ONI is at the edge of being a Powered Suit, the arms of the operator are external to the suit, but there are two matching big powered arms slaved to their movement.. The operators legs are contained within the upper parts of the suit's legs.

Any resemblance to a GuGes Landmate is coincidental.

When Nightmares Come: Kate - Warden

Kate is a Warden, using her twin Beretta 92s to drive back the Nightmares. 

The figure is Copplestone Castings' Girl Werewolf Hunter.

Putting out the bins has a whole new meaning...

When Nightmares Come - Point Of Interest 2

 "Ingrid, that does not look good"

"No, but it is your turn, I checked the last one"

"Yes, but it does not look like it contains an out of date carton of Raspberry Ripple..."

This Point of Interest uses a Fridge from the Debris of War Fridge and Washing Machine set.

There is half a Zinge Industries Engineering Brick and a Debris of War rubbish bag.

They are on a 30mm Renedra round base.

Frostgrave Scatter Terrain

 Frostgrave needs lots of scatter terrain otherwise magic and ranged weapons do not lead to a fun experience.

A Goblin emerges from behind the barrels.

They are Debris of War Large Barrels.

They have been painted as if they have been under the ice that buried Feldstadt. The wood is dark and grey and the metalwork is rusted.

Various shades of grey dry brushed over a Citadel Chaos Black spray undercoat.

The iron hoops were painted with a mix of Army Painter Black, Army Painter Chaotic Red and Vallejo Black Grey.

Citadel Ryza Rust was then applied.

The whole thing was then washed with Citadel Nuln Oil.

When Nightmares Come - Point Of Interest

 "Kate, what is that glow over there?"

"It looks like a television Ingrid"

They move closer.

"It is not plugged in"

"Worse, there is a hole in the screen"

When Nightmares Come is a Cooperative/Solo Urban Fantasy/Supernatural Horror wargame.

Part of the game involves the investigation of "Points Of Interest" (POI) to obtain clues leading up to stopping the nightmares.

These POI have markers on the table, and what is more spooky than an eerily glowing television, not only not plugged in but the Cathode Ray Tube having an obvious hole in it,

This POI is built from an assortment of scatter terrain.

The television is from Crooked Dice, the box, barrel and tyre from TTCombat.

Some pieces of MDF made up the bricks/tiles.
